ClassBook.com is the ideal solution for your school’s book supply needs.
We offer truly customized bookstore solutions to fit any request, and we take pride in accommodating unique schedules and requirements; however, there are a few things we need from your school to guarantee that ClassBook.com creates the best, most personalized bookstore solution for your individual needs.
The ClassBook.com Timeline
We know you’ll find ClassBook.com to be the most efficient solution for your bookstore needs. We never want our schools to feel confined by time or confused about our process. While we actively work to create the most flexible options for our schools to fit within their schedules, cultures and current processes, here is a general timeline of the ClassBook.com Online Bookstore Solution process.
1. Before Your Bookstore Opens
ClassBook.com will provide adoption forms for your school’s faculty, and then we’ll enter these lists into the Online Bookstore. Foreign books will require additional time to process, but we fully analyze your school’s adoption history and immediately notify teachers who have an affected curriculum. ClassBook.com will work with your school to create forecast numbers as to the amount of books you will need for your students, and then organize a book buyback program based on your school’s specifications. We look to finalize adoption prior to the end of the school year and the buyback date scheduled by each school.
ClassBook.com will work with your faculty to guarantee your Online Bookstore Solution is effectively utilized. We work with your school to determine how you would like your Online Bookstore Solution to be organized (by school division, semester, etc.). During this phase, ClassBook.com updates your booklist and notifies you within 24 hours if any issues arise. Because we continuously monitor your Online Bookstore Solution, your school will be immediately notified with any concerns. As always, we offer concise solutions and promptly resolve whatever problems occur.
ClassBook.com will provide your school with marketing materials to familiarize students and parents with your Online Bookstore Solution. Administrators and faculty will be able to review the Online Bookstore
to ensure it meets your school’s guidelines, specifications, and that all materials are present and listed correctly in the Online Bookstore. As soon as your school approves the website and students receive their class schedules, students and parents can begin purchasing books and materials.
2. Once Your Online Bookstore Opens
ClassBook.com will be in constant contact with your school to provide reports and updates on student purchases. We will also confirm that your teachers have received their requested materials well before the upcoming year begins.
3. After the School Year Begins
ClassBook.com will provide your school with posters to announce book buyback dates four weeks prior to the actual event. We will also schedule regular debriefing meetings with your school’s administration and faculty to gauge the success of your Online Bookstore Solution and uncover ways we can make your solution work better for you. Our representatives also travel to your school to personally buy back books from your students, allowing your faculty and administration a hands-off approach to this process so they can focus on critical end-of-year projects. Two dates are generally provided for schools, though we are happy to work with whatever timeframe you determine.
What We Need From You
ClassBook.com looks for three basic requirements from your school before we can create an effective solution. These prerequisites include:

- A designated contact person for streamlined communications between your school and ClassBook.com
- Important Milestones, which include buyout dates, bookstore opening dates, summer reading list availability, school shipping delivery dates, and the first day of school
